This website (itronauts.com) is operated by Itronauts OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act, Itronauts OÜ is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.
We collect only the personal data we actually need, keep it for no longer than necessary, and do not sell it. This website does not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or behavioural profiling.
When you submit the contact form on our Contact page, we collect:
Purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if relevant, to discuss a possible engagement.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) when you voluntarily submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Retention: up to 24 months from last contact, unless a commercial relationship begins — in which case data is retained under the terms of that engagement and applicable accounting law.
Processor: form submissions are transmitted via Web3Forms, a form-relay service, and delivered to our company inbox. See section 5.
When you book a call via our booking link, you interact with Microsoft Bookings (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited). The data you provide (name, email, time slot, any notes) is processed by Microsoft on our behalf and synced to our calendar.
Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in scheduling requested meetings.
Retention: calendar and booking records retained in line with our engagement and accounting obligations.
We use Plausible Analytics (plausible.io, operated by Plausible Insights OÜ, an Estonian company) to understand how visitors use our website.
Plausible is privacy-friendly by design: it does not use cookies, does not collect any personal data, does not track you across websites, and does not store your IP address. The data is fully aggregated and anonymous. You cannot be identified individually from our analytics.

When you switch between English and Estonian, we store your preference in your browser's localStorage under the key it_lang. This is used only to remember your language on return visits and is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Our hosting provider (Zone Media OÜ, operating zone.ee) keeps standard server logs for security and operational purposes. These may include IP address, request time, page accessed, and user agent. Logs are retained by Zone in line with their own policies and are not used by us for profiling.
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Google Ads tracking, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any similar third-party marketing pixel. We do not profile individual visitors, do not enrich visitor data with reverse-IP or third-party identity providers, and do not sell or trade any data to third parties.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee) or your local supervisory authority in the EU.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, or disclosure. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our systems, least-privilege access principles, and regular review of our sub-processors. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat client and visitor data with the same care we apply in client engagements.
This website is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
